Eugene Pride Festival is having an 2023 Equality Rally and March on Saturday, August 12. There will be a 1.3 mile march that begins at Kesey Square (intersection of Broadway and Willamette) and ends at Alton Baker Park.  There will be participants gathering at Kesey Square beginning at 8:30 a.m. There is a rally at the location from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. then the march will leave for Alton Baker Park where the Eugene Pride Festival will take place.

The parade organizers were granted a permit and worked cooperatively with EPD to facilitate traffic handling.

 

The basic route of the march is: 

  • Broadway Plaza east on Broadway. 
  • South on Oak to 5th. 
  • 5th east to High. 
  • High north to the pedestrian access to FSB. 
  • Sidewalk and path to Alton Baker 

Motorists can expect congestion and some road closures in the area during the rally and march. 

During the march, Eugene Police Traffic Safety Unit, Mobile Response Team, and Community Service Unit staff, crews from City of Eugene Public Works, and volunteers will be on hand to direct traffic and assist participants and ensure a safe and enjoyable day for everyone.
