MILTON-FREEWATER — While an official contract has yet to be worked out and signed, Milton-Freewater City Council members Tuesday, March 25, voted to offer Charles “Chad” Morris the position of city manager.
The leadership spot was vacated with the retirement of longtime employee Linda Hall on Jan. 31. Since then Assistant City Manager Leanne Steadman has been acting city manager.
