HERMISTON — The Hermiston School Board on Monday, Aug. 28, heard updates on the district’s bond projects and declared an emergency on an agenda item to get hot water to Desert View Elementary School.

Scott Rogers, senior project manager at Portland-based construction management and consulting firm Wenaha Group, updated the board on approved bond projects for the $13 million Hermiston High School annex and a district-wide upgrade.
