PENDLETON — Interstate 84 remains closed Thursday, Jan. 5, after high winds and a number of crashes caused dangerous traveling conditions, according to a press release from the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The roadway is closed eastbound and westbound between Exit 216, 6 miles east of Pendleton, and Exit 265 about 5 miles east of La Grande. Westbound lanes are closed to all traffic at Baker City Exit 302 and closed to trucks at Exit 374 in Ontario due to no safe truck parking in Baker City or La Grande.
