PENDLETON — Late on Friday afternoon, March 1, Interstate-84 shut down in both directions between Exit 224 (15 miles east of Pendleton) and Exit 265 (4 miles east of La Grande) due to multiple crashes.
The road has since reopened, but it was closed for about an hour and a half.
