PENDLETON — A $2.25 million grant from Business Oregon last September designating the Pendleton Unmanned Aerial Systems Test Range as a Center of Innovation Excellence is near takeoff with the arrival of the center’s Interim Executive Director.
Steve Chrisman, Pendleton economic development director and airport director went to the city council on Jan. 16 successfully requesting that Tom Perkowski be hired in the interim director position as soon as possible.
