MILTON-FREEWATER — City officials and the public received an update on the hunt for a new city manager at the council meeting on Monday, Feb. 12.
Cliff Moore, a recruiter with the headhunting firm Prothman, of Issaquah, Washington, reported via phone 17 applicants had initially put their hat in the ring to replace Linda Hall, who retired Jan. 31.
