SALEM — Randall Melton of Pendleton has been appointed by Governor Tina Kotek to a four-year term on the Oregon Heritage Commission.

Melton is the Exhibits Coordinator for Tamastslikt Cultural Institute on the Umatilla Indian Reservation in Pendleton where he grew up. He is an enrolled member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.
