MILTON-FREEWATER — After an increase in fatalities along a stretch of Highway 11 through Milton-Freewater, residents called for action, resulting in a nearly three-hour-long town hall.
State Rep. Greg Smith, R-Heppner, hosted the event after receiving calls and emails about a particular stretch of the highway just north of the city that people believe to be dangerous.
