MILTON-FREEWATER — A minor earthquake or explosion rumbled Tuesday, Aug. 1, near Milton-Freewater.
The website www.volcanodiscovery.com reported the 1.3 magnitude trembler occurred at 3:35 p.m. at a depth of half a kilometer — about a third of a mile — about 6.8 miles away from east of Milton-Freewater.
