At 9:07 p.m. on March 5, callers reported a pedestrian/vehicle crash in the roadway at 2222 Hwy. 99 N. The pedestrian died on scene and the roadway was shut down to traffic for a crash investigation by EPD’s Major Collision Investigation team.
The road reopened at 12:48 a.m. on March 6. The vehicle’s driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police. The pedestrian’s identity is being withheld until his family can be notified.
