PENDLETON — The Umatilla County District Attorney’s office has charged Emerald Julia Williams in the robbery of a Milton-Freewater restaurant and the slaying of its owner.
The state on Monday, March 4, at the Umatilla County Courthouse, Pendleton, charged Williams, 39, with one count each of first-degree robbery, a Class A felony, and second-degree manslaughter, a Class B felony, based on the grand jury indictment.
