Oregon State Police troopers arrested a Washington man near Sumpter on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 16, who had a nationwide arrest warrant on charges from Washington, including threatening to harm a police officer in Skagit County and the officer’s family.

Police arrested Mark Curtis Scott, 55, of Concrete, Washington, which is the northern part of the state east of Mount Vernon, around 1:04 p.m. on the Sumpter-Granite Highway just east of Sumpter.
