Another nice Fall day today with plenty of sunshine after a very chilly night.
High: 75

Forecast: Sunny and warming.
A high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is setting up over the Gulf of Alaska in such a way as to send cold Canadian air our way. We’ll have frosty nights followed by pleasant days with sunshine and average temperatures. The high will push a frontal system from northeast to southwest pushing the cooler air through the “back door”at us.
Forecast for the Southern and lower Mid Willamette Valley including Eugene-Springfield and Albany-Corvallis: Sunny today, mostly clear tonight, mostly sunny and a bit warmer Friday and Saturday with mostly clear nights highs 72-75 cooling to near 70 Saturday lows 35-38. Because weather forecasting is a combination of science, intuition, and timing there can be no absolute guarantees that individual forecasts will be 100% accurate. Nature is in a constant state of flux and sudden unexpected weather events can happen.
