Senior Natalie Martin set a new career record for solo blocks on Saturday, giving her the Bushnell lead for all-time solo blocks, block assists, and total blocks. She added a match-high 11 kills as the Beacons swept Multnomah, 25-10, 25-13, 25-15.
On an emotional afternoon for the Bushnell cross country program, both Beacon teams claimed seventh-place finishes at the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships. The teams dedicated their race to the memory of Elise Lackey, the mom of senior Jacob Lackey who suddenly passed away two weeks ago.
Senior Claire Salness became Bushnell’s all-time leader for attack attempts on Friday night as the Beacon volleyball team cruised to a 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 victory over Multnomah University at the Morse Center.
