OFAM 2021 Community Sing-Along

The Festival Community Sing-Alongs are a great way to get into the music! As usual, there are two sessions in the Sheffer Recital Hall, each with its own song list, open to all-comers. Amy Adams and The Shedd’s Singing Road Scholar and Shedd Singing Club lead this Week 1 Sing-Along, which focuses on great songs from movies of the 1930s and 40s.

2021 Lane County Fair

Excellent family fun, concerts, carnival rides, games and entertainment. All types of carnival rides will be at the fair, including a large Ferris Wheel to give you a bird’s eye view of the fairgrounds and Eugene. Enjoy favorite food vendors with classic fair fare such as elephant ears, cotton candy, barbecue and so much ice cream. Browse the animal and agricultural exhibits, arts and crafts and expo hall. This year’s creative exhibits include Beer & Wine, Floral, Food Preservation, Textiles, Photography and more. Horses, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits and poultry will be shown and judged for both adult and youth competition.

2021 Adkins Farm Blueberry Festival Blues and Brews

The 10th Annual Adkins Blueberry Festival Blues and Brews event offers great local music and even better local beer. Check off your summer bucket list items by blueberry picking, eating from delicious food & drink carts, and participating in fun kid’s activities, including a performance by magician, Dr. Delusions. Get a taste for the Eugene music scene by listening to live performances from bands such as The Canyoneers, Gumbo Groove, Dragon Thunder Voodoo, and the Muddy Souls. The Adkins Blueberry Farm is working with CASA of Lane County for this event and will be collecting donations at the gate.

Virtual Oregon Country Fair

For 2021, the OCF event has been replaced with a virtual experience. Wander the 3D “Fair in the Clouds” and enjoy interactive mapping. OCF merchandise is available online. Visit their website for details.

Nestled in the forest along the banks of the Long Tom River, the Oregon Country Fair features vaudeville, circus acts, spoken word, wandering musicians, face painting, parades and other perennial favorites. Fairgoers will enjoy 18 stages of entertainment, more than 80 food booths and nearly 350 craft booths featuring more than 700 vendors.

McKenzie River Lavender Bloom

McKenzie River Lavender Bloom celebrates the beauty and aroma of lavender in full bloom along the banks of the McKenzie River. Shop for specialty handcrafted treasures in the Lavender Boutique and from local artisans. Pick a lavender bouquet to take home or capture a selfie among the lavender plants. Take home a new lavender start for your home garden. Relax, listen to live music, and choose appetizing treats and beverages from local food carts. Ticket proceeds support the local Walterville Boy Scout Troop managing the parking. State COVID guidelines will be followed.

Tokatee Golf Club Fireworks Celebration

Eugene Pro Rodeo & Fireworks

The Eugene Pro Rodeo is on for the Fourth of July weekend! Watch cowboys and cowgirls compete in Roughstock, bareback riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling and roping events. There will be rodeo clowns, carnival food, beer and a giant fireworks display each evening. Friday is family night, Saturday is Tough Enough to Wear Pink and Sunday will be an American Celebration. Perfect for Father’s Day, this festival is a celebration of Oregon’s rich aviation history. The day typically features aircraft, food and fun activities for the family. Watch pilots take to the skies and learn more about Oregon’s “Outlaws” who paved the way for aviators to build and fly their own aircraft. Check out classic model cars as well as airplanes. Oregon Bach Radio Festival (OBF) 2021

Since the 1970s, Eugene has played host to an amazing summer music festival – the Oregon Bach Festival (OBF). The festival attracts distinguished musicians from around the world for two exciting weeks of orchestral and choral performances, lectures and community events in a true powerhouse of a production. An international audience of over 15,000 people flock to Eugene for the festival, which has grown to include over 50 musical events each year. Many performances are staged at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and Beall and Berwick Halls at the University of Oregon.

Annual Oregon Highway 36 Yard Sale

Established in 2004, the 52 mile long yard sale runs the whole distance of Oregon Hwy 36, from its starting point at the junction with Oregon Hwy 126 at Mapleton to its ending point on US Hwy 99N just south of Junction City. Many side roads also participate.

Sales will be held outside. Please respect any sellers’ posted requests for masks.
