Shop for specialty handcrafted treasures in the Lavender Boutique and from local artisans. Pick a lavender bouquet to take home or capture a selfie among the lavender plants. Take home a new lavender start for your home garden. Relax, listen to live music, and choose appetizing treats and beverages from local food carts. Ticket proceeds support the local Walterville Boy Scout Troop managing the parking. State COVID guidelines will be followed.

Virtual Oregon Country Fair

For 2021, the OCF event has been replaced with a virtual experience. Wander the 3D “Fair in the Clouds” and enjoy interactive mapping. OCF merchandise is available online. Visit their website for details.

Nestled in the forest along the banks of the Long Tom River, the Oregon Country Fair features vaudeville, circus acts, spoken word, wandering musicians, face painting, parades and other perennial favorites. Fairgoers will enjoy 18 stages of entertainment, more than 80 food booths and nearly 350 craft booths featuring more than 700 vendors.

Annual Oregon Highway 36 Yard Sale

Established in 2004, the 52 mile long yard sale runs the whole distance of Oregon Hwy 36, from its starting point at the junction with Oregon Hwy 126 at Mapleton to its ending point on US Hwy 99N just south of Junction City. Many side roads also participate.

Sales will be held outside. Please respect any sellers’ posted requests for masks.

Located in the heart of downtown Springfield, come meet the makers, learn their process and rich history of handmade furnishings of lumber, leather and steel. The tour includes light snacks. Oregon Asian Celebration 2021

The 36th annual Oregon Asian Celebration in the Year of the Ox celebrating strength in unity. It will be a modified event on the footprint of Saturday Market design, held on Friday nights throughout May. The celebration will feature physically-distanced vendor booths, craft demonstrations and food carts/trucks. Traditional entertainment performances and live music from fan dancing to taiko drumming will be held on the Saturday Market stage. Explore heritage exhibits, demonstrations, fine arts and crafts and other cultural touchstones from every corner of the world’s largest continent. Dozens of cultures will be represented at the festival including Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Central Asian cultures and many more! 

The event is produced by the Eugene/Springfield Asian Council, whose mission is to create opportunities that foster greater understanding of Asian and Asian American cultures by presenting special events and activities that promote friendship and harmonious relationships. All net profits from the event go toward annual college scholarships and community grants administered by the nonprofit Asian American Foundation of Oregon.

POSTPONED Oregon Asian Celebration 2021

Due to Pandemic Protocols, this event has been postponed unitl summer. Please check back for new dates.

The 36th annual Oregon Asian Celebration in the Year of the Ox celebrates the theme “Strength in Unity” every Friday evening in May to honor Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. This free event features a Night Market at the downtown Eugene park blocks.

The celebration will feature physically-distanced vendor booths, cultural entertainment from dances to taiko drumming, martial arts, Asian food carts/trucks, a marketplace and windowfront exhibits of fine arts, heritage, and crafts in nearly a dozen windowfront exhibits on Willamette Street. Dozens of cultures will be represented at the festival including Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Middle Eastern, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Central Asian cultures and many more! 

The event is produced by the Asian American Council of Oregon whose mission is to create opportunities that foster greater understanding of Asian and Asian American cultures by presenting special events and activities that promote friendship and harmonious relationships.

Native Plant Sale

The Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah spend thousands of hours annually cultivating native plants for Buford Park restoration and throughout the Willamette Valley. Beginning in spring, while supplies last, they open their doors to the community for you to take home a piece of Buford Park to plant in your own backyard. This year due to pandemic restrictions, they are hosting their sale online and arranging curbside pickup at the nursery. Great for Mother’s Day and more.
