Search Continues for Robbery Suspect

11-19 76 stationEUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Police is looking for an armed man who they say robbed a gas station Tuesday night.

EPD says just before 10 p.m. a man approached an employee at the 76 gas station on 6th Avenue. Police say he displayed a gun and demanded money.

“Anyone who’s willing to do this is considered to be very dangerous and of course we’d like anybody who has any information, anonymous or otherwise, to give us a call. Particularly if they hear something through a circle of friends or anybody who might have done this, anything that would help us solve this crime and get this person off the street before they do actually hurt somebody,” said Lt. Scott Fellman, Eugene Police Department.

Police say during this time of year they do see more robberies in town, which is why they’re reminding people to keep valuables out of their cars to prevent falling victim to a crime.
