A Race for the Rest of Us raises money for the Lane Council of Governments Senior Meals Program, which provides food to Lane County seniors who might otherwise go hungry. The distance is a whopping 0.5k! Race Day: 7/21 – 7/25 (or whenever you want.)

Virtual Oregon Country Fair

For 2021, the OCF event has been replaced with a virtual experience. Wander the 3D “Fair in the Clouds” and enjoy interactive mapping. OCF merchandise is available online. Visit their website for details.

Nestled in the forest along the banks of the Long Tom River, the Oregon Country Fair features vaudeville, circus acts, spoken word, wandering musicians, face painting, parades and other perennial favorites. Fairgoers will enjoy 18 stages of entertainment, more than 80 food booths and nearly 350 craft booths featuring more than 700 vendors.

Oregon Bach Radio Festival (OBF) 2021

Due to pandemic protocols, OBF is now a virtual streaming experience. Enjoy a free concert daily throughout the festival!

Since the 1970s, Eugene has played host to an amazing summer music festival – the Oregon Bach Festival (OBF). The festival attracts distinguished musicians from around the world for two exciting weeks of orchestral and choral performances, lectures and community events in a true powerhouse of a production. An international audience of over 15,000 people flock to Eugene for the festival, which has grown to include over 50 musical events each year. Many performances are staged at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and Beall and Berwick Halls at the University of Oregon.

In Celebration of Women – Eugene Concert Choir

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of a woman’s right to vote, the concert features all women composers from the 12th century to present. Much of the choral music will be pre-recorded and enhanced with vibrant images on the new Hult LED screens. Appearing onstage are actress Jane VanBoskirk as Oregon Suffragist Abigail Scott Duniway and Eleanor Roosevelt, narrator Lexy Wellman, pianist Nathalie Fortin, and selected singers from Eugene Vocal Arts. Tickets are available at the Hult Box Office for limited socially-distanced seating in groups of 2 or 4 only. The performance will also be livestreamed.

Live Concert and Stream begin at 2:30 p.m.; On Demand lasts all day after the performance.

The Child Center’s 50th Anniversary Virtual Celebration

Join The Child Center to celebrate 50 years of serving the children, youth, and families in our community. The evening will include a look back at where TCC started, their plans for the future, trivia, a silent auction, and more!

Help them continue their work of supporting children and youth dealing with mental and behavioral health issues across Lane County.

Soundwaves VI – Eugene Symphony

The premier of Soundwaves VI will be the grand finale of Eugene Symphony’s 2020/21 season.

For this final Soundwaves, you will hear pieces by two of Francesco’s favorite composers working today, Zhou Tian and Chen Yi. Then, the percussion section will take the stage to perform John Cage’s Second Construction. With the help of modern technology, the Eugene Symphony brings back their  wind players safely to the stage for Terry Riley’s In C. To close off the concert will be the Ralph Vaugh William’s Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.
