“Ataraxy” Art Exhibit at Bennett Vineyards on 5th

////

Zia Oshun’s exhibit “Ataraxy” explores the intersections of and the spaces between vexation and ataraxy. Many pieces within this collection were created as part of a cathartic process, created in a state when life felt so loud and intense that everything snapped and became entranced in a sharp sense of still quietness. The figures within Oshun’s work dance between soft tender features and distorted dark curvatures. The artist shares her drawings with the desire to move people within their own bodies.
