MILTON-FREEWATER — A three-story home burned down early Thursday, June 15, in Milton-Freewater, leaving nearly nothing of the house but its chimney standing.
“It was a really, really hot fire,” Milton-Freewater City Manager Linda Hall said. “We were able to get fire crews on scene within five minutes, but it burned so hot it fully engulfed the home.”
