THE WEATHER PATTERN

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape)  will keep temperatures near or a bit above normal. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems approaching the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7   Tuesday through Saturday show a frontal system moving through the Pacific Northwest Tuesday and Tuesday night, then a cold front will be moving through Oregon next Saturday.

Forecast For The South Willamette Valley Including Eugene-Springfield:

  • Some AM clouds, sunny and a bit warmer this afternoon, clear tonight,
  • Mostly sunny and a bit warmer Monday, mostly clear at night,
  • A mix of clouds and sun and a bit cooler Tuesday, then mostly clear Tuesday night.
  • highs 83-87 cooling to 77 Tuesday low 49-52 cooling to 46 Tuesday night .
  • Partly cloudy and a bit cooler Wednesday, mostly clear Wednesday night,
  • Some AM clouds, mostly sunny and a bit warmer Thursday afternoon, mostly clear at night,
