PEOPLE IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP CYANOBACTERIA (BLUE-GREEN ALGAE) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED AT SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) continues to bring clear skies and cold nights to the Pacific Northwest. Watch out for freezing low temperatures with widespread frost. The graphics for days 1-3 show the lack of frontal activity over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7 Wednesday through Sunday show the complex frontal system that will be approaching the coast next Sunday.
