PEOPLE IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP CYANOBACTERIA (BLUE-GREEN ALGAE) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED AT SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN

  • An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) has taken over keeping us dry, but bringing cold nights. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems  moving into the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7  Tuesday through Saturday show the frontal activity  through the period.
  • **Note: Ski season is under way. Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and Mt. Ashland are open.
