PEOPLE IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP CYANOBACTERIA (BLUE-GREEN ALGAE) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED AT SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN

  • An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” Shape) brings a warm front and more rain.The graphics for days 1-3 show a strong cold front moving through the Pacific Northwest Tuesday. The graphics for days 3-7  Thursday through Monday show the parade of frontal systems headed our way through the period.
  • **Note: Ski season is well under way, but the recent warm rains have impacted the slopes. Check the webpages of Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and Mt. Ashland to find out their conditions.
