PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID SWIMMING AND HIGH-SPEED WATER ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS WATER SKIING OR POWER BOATING, IN AREAS OF THE LAKE WHERE BLOOMS ARE, AS THE MAJOR RISK OF EXPOSURE IS FROM INGESTING WATER. The Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) strengthens again for warmup that is a real heat wave. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems attempting to move southward into Oregon. The graphics for days 3-7 Monday through Friday show a frontal system pushing into the Pacific Northwest next Tuesday through next Thursday.
