POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE  RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN:

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) brings Summer heat. The graphics for days 1-3  show a frontal system sliding into Oregon over last night, but not much change except for some cooling. The graphics for days 3-7   Wednesday through Sunday show no frontal systems pushing through the Pacific Northwest until a cold front moves through between Wednesday and next Thursday. A complex frontal system will be moving through Oregon between Saturday and next Sunday.

  • Sunny and a bit warmer Monday, clear Monday night,
  • Sunny and a bit warmer Tuesday, mostly clear at night,
  • Mostly sunny and cooler Wednesday, then mostly cloudy Wednesday night.

  • A mix of clouds and sun and and a bit cooler with a slight (20%) chance of showers Thursday, partly cloudy in the evening, mostly clear late Thursday night,
