An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) is taking over, but the problem is that it will not be bringing rain with it, just cooler temperatures.  The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal activity over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7  Friday through next Tuesday show what little frontal activity will occur through the period until a cold front move in between Friday and next Saturday.  Then another cold front slides in just in time for Memorial Day Monday.Yet another front will be offshore to out northwest next Tuesday.
