ELGIN — Umatilla National Forest Service officials have announced that a section of the Umatilla Rim Trail, specifically Forest Service Trail 3080, will be closed on weekdays starting Monday, July 10.
According to a press release, the closure is necessary due to ongoing timber harvest activities near Horseshoe Prairie, Ninemile Ridge and Buck Mountain. Access to the Ninemile Trail, Forest Service Trail 3072, from the Ninemile trailhead also will be temporarily closed.
