Please avoid Garfield between W. 2nd Avenue and W. 6th Avenue. Eugene Police is investigating a bicycle/vehicle traffic crash in the southbound lanes of Garfield and has closed the southbound lane to travel. Please use alternative routes as the area will be congested. The closure is expected to last between and hour and an hour and half. The driver has been cooperative and the bicyclist was transported to a local hospital.
