Congressman Cliff Bentz fielded questions on a variety of topics during his first Baker City town hall of 2023 on Thursday, Aug. 24 at the Geiser Grand Hotel.
Bentz, a Republican from Ontario serving his second term representing the 2nd Congressional District, which includes most of Oregon east of the Cascades, heard about the looming closure of the birth center at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, immigration, and state water quality rules that could affect local farmers and ranchers.
