Bid for Stanfield water line comes in at bargain price

STANFIELD — The winning bid to make improvements on Stanfield’s North Sloan Street water line was almost $14,000 less than the nearest competitor.

The project includes 600 feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride water and a new fire hydrant.
