BOARDMAN — The Boardman City Council voted to extend a conditional offer of employment to Brandon R. Hammond of Medford to serve as city manager.
The hire comes after the city held panel interviews for two candidates for the open position, left vacant when former city manager Karen Pettigrew resigned in January.
