Typically, this space focuses on Portland’s restaurant news. But last month, we spent the majority of our days in Beaverton. Why? Well, starting half a decade ago, Washington County’s second largest city began courting prominent local restaurant groups with generous grants and an appealing — if largely unknown — downtown.
