• A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON UNTIL 8 PM WEDNESDAY FOR STRONG GUSTY WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE KLAMATH BASIN AND THE FREMONT-WINEMA NATIONAL FOREST.
• A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON THROUGH 8 PM WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR STRONG GUSTY WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON DESERT INCLUDING THE BLM LAND IN EASTERN LAKE AND WESTERN HARNEY COUNTIES.
• A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM MDT UNTIL 8 PM MDT WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR LIGHTNING,  WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE BURNS BLM AND THE VALE BLM.

HEALTH ADVISORIES

• A PERMANENT HEALTH ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTH UMPQUA RIVER BAR. POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE  RIVER.

THE WEATHER PATTERN:

• An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) weakens allowing clouds & possible showers. The graphics for days 1-3  show a frontal system moving through Oregon Wednesday with another right behind it. The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show no frontal systems pushing through the Pacific Northwest until a complex frontal system will be moving through Oregon between Saturday and next Sunday. Yet another front headed our way next Tuesday.
