ENTERPRISE — After months of sometimes contentious discussion, the Wallowa County Strategic Energy Plan has been formally adopted by the Wallowa County Board of Commissioners.

At their meeting on Dec. 20, the commissioners also included, in their resolution adopting the energy plan, the creation of a seven-member committee to meet every six months to review and recommend changes to the plan. The committee will meet for two years and then the commissioners will consider reappointing members and resetting the two-year term.
