BAKER CITY — The Baker City Council has offered the city manager job to Barry Murphy, contingent on negotiating a contract.
Councilors met Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, at city hall to discuss the three finalists — Murphy, current interim city manager Jon France, and Rachelle Perkes of Newton, Iowa, executive director of the Sac and Fox Tribe on the Mississippi in Iowa.
