UPDATE DECEMBER 7, 2023:

The deceased person’s family has been notified and we are able to release his name: Jose Manuel Floresmora, age16, of Springfield. The investigation into the death is ongoing and detectives have been working diligently. They do not believe at this time that there is an ongoing threat in the area related to Floresmora’s death. Case 24-17905

Death Investigation – Amazon Parkway/E. 24^th Avenue

Please avoid the area of Amazon Parkway and E. 24^th Avenue. At 8:08 a.m., November 28, Eugene police were called to Amazon Parkway and E. 24^th Avenue. A person was found deceased in an area near trees. Eugene Police are investigating. Incident number 23-321597
