GLENEDEN BEACH — The East Oregonian for the second year in a row received the top award in the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association’s annual Better Newspapers Contest.
The ONPA also recognized the EO with 15 awards for reporting, writing, photography, editorial and page design — seven first-place awards, five second-place awards and three third-place awards. The awards were for the 2022 calendar year, and the Texas Press Association judged the contest.
