LA GRANDE — Eastern Oregon University is working to get ahead of the brave new world of artificial intelligence, striving to get a grasp on its advantages as a learning tool as well as its potential misuse, especially in terms of plagiarism.
One thing, though, is clear: AI isn’t going anywhere and will become a key component of higher education in the future. The question of how to confront the AI revolution at the university level hasn’t gone unnoticed by school officials as they actively discuss its implications and how to deal with the sudden burst forward in technology.
