ECHO — The Echo Rural Fire Protection District just broke a record that might have been better left alone.
In a Facebook post Sunday, Dec. 18, the fire department announced it passed the record for most calls it responded to in a single year, hitting 217. The previous record from 2020 was 215 calls.
