LA GRANDE — Participants can choose between tours highlighting economic development, housing, water or forest management during the first day of the Eastern Oregon Economic Summit. The day concludes with an evening dinner and reception.
Hosted by the Eastern Oregon Women’s Coalition, the event is Aug. 3-4 at Eastern Oregon University, La Grande. After the general session on the second day, people can select from a variety of breakout sessions and discussion panels. Those planning to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets early for a discount. Session tickets range from $30-$50.
