LA GRANDE — An ex-employee accused of stealing $35,000 from Elgin business BillyBob’s & Stafford’s Custom Meats made a first court appearance Tuesday, Aug. 22, in Union County Circuit Court.
Stacy Follett, 50, Summerville, is charged with aggravated theft in the first degree, eight counts of theft by deception, eight counts of forgery and eight counts of negotiating a bad check — all felonies — after being arrested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office on July 19 and negotiating a conditional release.
