Eugene Police Major Collision Investigation team responded last night to a crash involving a vehicle and a male pedestrian on I-105 eastbound, just west of I-5. The incident occurred on September 27 at approximately 10:20 p.m. The male pedestrian is deceased and Eugene Police Major Collision Investigation was called out along with Patrol to investigate. The involved driver stopped, called 911, and is cooperating with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
The roadway was closed for approximately four hours.
