On January 8 at 9:18 p.m., Eugene Police responded to a fatal hit and run pedestrian/vehicle crash near W. 7th Avenue and Van Buren Street. The vehicle, which left the scene, is described as a 2006-2009 light-colored Land Rover. The pedestrian is a 17-year-old male. Eugene Police is withholding his identity to provide family time to notify other relatives and their circle of friends.
