MISSION — The FBI reported it is investigating an officer involved shooting that happened Sunday morning, Sept. 18, on the Umatilla Indian Reservation near Pendleton.
“The incident is alleged to involve an officer of the Umatilla Tribal Police Department and a citizen of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation,” according to the press release the night of Sept. 18. “The FBI and our law enforcement partners are investigating the incident.”
