Eugene Springfield Firefighters responded to three separate fires in Eugene early Sunday morning. 
 

At 0249, Crews responded to 11th and Oak Ally for smoke inside a local business. Crews found an exterior fire had set in an entry way that breached the building, and ESF worked to extinguish the fire and remove smoke from the interior of the business.

At 0354, crews responded to a working house fire in the Fox Hollow/Amazon area. Firefighters quickly went inside for fire attack and to search for occupants  They located and extinguished the fire, which displaced six residents. The home was uninhabitable and the residents are being assisted by Red Cross.

At 0613, a report came in of smoke filling the Eugene Hotel, a retirement high rise apartment building. Residents were evacuating into the lobby and reported smoke on multiple floors. Incoming units arrived to find a fully involved dumpster on the back side of the building that was pushing smoke inside. ESF extinguished the fire, pulled the dumpster away from the building, and spent the next hour removing smoke from the lobby and upper floors and checking on residents.

There were no injuries reported for residents or Firefighters at any of these incidents.  All three fires are under investigation.
