MORROW — Gov. Tina Kotek on Monday, Nov. 6, declared a drought emergency in Morrow County after the wheat crop suffered due to a dry fall last year and a low-rain spring this year.

More than 90% of the county is in a moderate drought, according to a press release from the governor’s office, with the rest being either abnormally dry or in severe drought conditions.
