HEPPNER — The Heppner Fire Department reported the loss of at least one of its firefighters in a crash on Highway 74, which claimed the lives of three people.
The crash, which occurred Friday, Dec. 30, closed a portion of Highway 74, between Heppner and Lexington. It wasn’t until 9:40 p.m. that the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office notified the public the highway was reopened.
