Hermiston American Legion post draws in younger members

A local veterans group is looking towards the future with new members and a contest to interest young people.

Aaron Wetterling, post commander for Hermiston American Legion Post 37, inducted three new members Nov. 10. They are David Kirkpatrick and sons Zachary Kirkpatrick, 22, and Wade Kirkpatrick, 23.
